Doctrinal Statement

OUR DOCTRINAL BASIS

The basis of this charismatic, evangelical, protestant ministry shall be the fundamental truths of Christianity, as revealed in Holy Scripture, including:

GOD / TRINITY

There is one God in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God is sovereign in biblical creation (not evolution), revelation, redemption and final judgement of eternal life in heaven and eternal hell for the unrepentant. GOD is sinlessly perfect, awesome in power, loves everyone.  God’s total sovereignty has no contradiction with the freewill he has given to man. We chose him because he chose us because we chose him because he chose us … (to infinity). God is outside space and time. He created them (Gensis 1.1)

BIBLE

The Bible, as originally given, is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is the supreme authority in all matters of belief and behaviour. It trumps our opinions, denominational doctrine, any visions, Hebrew traditions, and experiences. As Martin Luther said concerning what the bible clearly says: “Here I stand, I can do no other!” All scripture is God breathed. (Both OT and NT).

SIN

Since the fall, the whole of humankind is sinful and guilty, so that everyone is subject to God's wrath and condemnation. Not only have we broken the foundational 10 commandments but also the inner application of these outlined in Jesus’ sermon on the mount. Anger, lust, greed, laziness, worry, fear are some of these less visible but just as consequential sins.

JESUS

The Lord Jesus Christ, God's incarnate Son, is fully God; he was born of a virgin; his humanity is real and sinless; he died on the cross, was raised bodily from death and is now reigning over heaven and earth. After his incarnation, Jesus was the person of GOD in a fully human form.

THE CROSS

Sinful human beings are redeemed from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only through the sacrificial death once and for all time of their representative and substitute, Jesus Christ, the only mediator between them and God. Through the cross and resurrection Jesus procured propitiation, redemption, atonement, recreation and justification.

FAITH and REPENTANCE

Those who believe in Christ and turn away from sin are pardoned all their sins and accepted in God's sight only because of the righteousness of Christ credited to them; this justification is God's act of undeserved mercy, received solely by trust in him and not by their own efforts.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit alone makes the work of Christ effective to individual sinners, enabling them to turn to God from their sin and to trust in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit lives in all those he has regenerated. He makes them increasingly Christlike in character and behaviour and gives them power for their witness in the world.

CHURCH

The one holy universal church is the Body of Christ, to which all true believers belong. This comprises both local assemblies who believe the bible and are born again, and Christian evangelistic ministries and organizations who serve specific roles like John the Baptist, Jesus , Peter and the apostles and Paul’s teams.

2ND COMING

The Lord Jesus Christ will return in person, to judge everyone, to execute God's just condemnation on those who have not repented and to receive the redeemed to eternal glory. The book of revelation is part of bible and therefore paramount to understanding the second coming. It is totally relevant to believers today who should heed its warnings, not remove any part of it, be ready to overcome in the last days and look forward to glorious rapture out of the earth before its annihilation.

SANCTIFICATION

Each believer and the church are responsible for growing in the fruits of the Spirit and the character of GOD. There are unacceptable characteristics for leaders in the ministry if they are unrepentant: porn, abortion, sexual immorality, lying, stealing, occult, slandering, etc. God loves all as they are but wants to change them into something they are not.

RESURRECTION POWER

The Holy spirit works through the nine gifts of the spirit. All believers can hear the Good Shepherd’s voice. Jesus still delivers today from dark oppression. After salvation baptism in the Holy Spirit is usually a separate experience. Jesus still loves to heal physically sick people today through his servants.
